Cathy is a dedicated, persistent, and educated artist whose style reflects her individuality. "If you pay attention, art transcends all parts of life and makes the ordinary things in life 'a painting'."

Growing up in Denver, Colorado, Cathy pursued her education at Stephens College in Missouri and to a dgree in Fine Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. She continued her art training at Denver University, studying commercial art under William Sanderson.

Cathy loves to travel and teach art where she goes. This last year she has taught at a Primary school in Tanzania, Jackson Hole in Wyoming, and in Taos, NM. Russia, Mexico, Africa, Spain, France and Costa Rica have also provided great learning experiences for Ms Goodale. Landscapes, seascapes, and portraits provide some description of her work. Oil and watercolor provide her mediums of choice.
